ASHLEY
MCMANUS

     As well as being one of the top business English trainers in Bangkok, Ashley is also one of the most experienced academic administrators. After spending nine years in the British Army he worked at The London Stock Exchange and Goldman Sachs where he received extensive sales training.
Two years with British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia followed before this arrival in Thailand in 1992. For two years he was Technical Marketing Manager for Seaworld Group before commencing his outstanding academic career.

 

    Ashley spent five years in the position of School Manager for King’s College of English in Bangkok, after which he took up the appointment of Operations Manager with APM Group. While with APM, Ashley was certified as an American Management Association International Trainer, one of the world’s most prestigious training qualifications. He has worked for several years training staff at many of the world’s top multi-national companies.

RAYMOND
EDE

     Ray has spent his entire working life in business related jobs. In the early stages of his career he held the position of Accountant before being promoted to the post of Purchasing Manager. He then moved to a leading British retail chain, in the position of Senior Store Manager. He held this post for twenty years,
eleven of which were also served as Divisional Training Manager, responsible for on-the-job training of new managers. 

 

     On moving to Thailand he worked as a Business English teacher/trainer for four years before joining APM Group. With APM he rose quickly through the ranks, first as a Team Leader, then Academic Manager, and finally to the post of Learning and Performance Manager. Ray has worked with many of the top International companies located in Bangkok to which he has brought over thirty-five years of business, teaching, and training experience.
